Clyde
A. Faatz, Jr. was born in Queens Village, Long Island, New York, in 1940 and
was admitted
to practice law in Illinois in 1965 and in Colorado in 1967. He
earned his Bachelor's degree and his Law degree at the University of
Illinois, where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and
Phi Kappa Phi Social Fraternity. He is a member of the Denver,
Douglas-Elbert County, Jefferson County, San Luis Valley, Colorado and American Bar Associations. He has over 35 years of
experience in the areas of condemnation, eminent domain, small
business representation, real estate and civil litigation. In his condemnation practice he has represented both condemning authorities and landowners
whose property is being taken. He has numerous reported cases
primarily in the condemnation and real estate areas. In the real
estate area, his practice has included the purchase and sale of
developed and undeveloped ground; the representation of developers in
the development of real
estate, including shopping centers; the purchase and sale of farms and ranches;
construction; and mechanics' lien litigation.
